NORGC – 3D Archery League

North Ottawa Rod and Gun Club announces a 3-D archery league.
North Ottawa Rod and Gun Club will be hosting a 3-D archery league starting this summer and running for 8 weeks.  The league will begin Thursday, August 5th, at 6:00pm with a complimentary cook-out, 50/50 drawings, and novelty shoot.
The cost for the league is $40 if paid in advance or $5 per week along with a $10 registration fee.  Youths 16 and under are free of charge. The $40 cost can be credited towards an NORGC membership! Participants may shoot at any time during open club hours.

Summer League Party

Title: Summer League Party

Description: The league party will be Thursday at the club at 6:30. All club members are invited to attend even if you didn’t shoot in the summer league!!! Suggested donation of $5 will cover you for the burgers and beer!!! All monies raised help support the youth programs at the club. Please come out and join us for the fun!!!

Dinner will be burgers on the grill. There also will be potato salad & cole slaw and watermelon!

Steel Plate/Silhouette Pistol Shoot

Title: Steel Plate/Silhouette Pistol Shoot
Location: Outdoor Range
Description: The N.O.R.G.C. will hold a steel plate/silhouette pistol shoot on the club’s outdoor range Saturday August 7th. More efficient use of the range and changes in shooting procedures make the shoot move quickly. Mandatory magazine changes and all shooters must be present for the 8:45 safety talk/walk-thru. Shooting begins at 9 and the fee to shoot is $10.00 and there will be multiple courses of fire. Eye and ear protection is mandatory and no magnum cartridges.

Setup is Friday afternoon beginning at 2:30 and help is always appreciated. Any questions? Please call Michael Knes at 616-850-2686…….this is an opportunity to work on volunteer hours towards a 2011 membership upgrade!!
