Trap Fields 1 & 2 will be open, as will Skeet Fields 2, 3 & 4. The compact sporting clays course will be modified (no Station 7), as Trap 3 & 4 are inoperative until further notice. The parking lot will be open without any restrictions on its use.

The voice release system will be up on Trap Fields 1 & 2. There are two pullers scheduled for this weekend. This may result in some additional time for shooters to relax in our Clubroom, or swap lies on the porch while waiting for their squad to be called. Shooters may also pull their own rounds.

Our Club will reopen as soon as it is reasonably prudent to do so, without risking personal injury or permanent damage to our facilities. All measures will be taken while we are closed to prepare to reopen-if only for limited operations-for the weekend. Please check your email, our Club website and Facebook page for updates.

Also: On Saturday and Sunday, April 27 and 28, there will be a range cleanup and restoration for the Archery range.  Volunteers are welcome to help.  Be at the clubhouse starting at 9am.

SKEET & TRAP

·       Sign up for Winter League 2013 begins December 1 with a PANCAKE BREAKFAST at the Clubhouse.

·       The leagues are open to anyone who wants to try our club for their very first time … at member rates!

·       Shoot anytime during open club hours.

·       Beginners are welcome. There will be free shooting clinics in January to help get started.

·       Scores will be handicapped.

·       A small fee ($40) will cover your first event, “Name Your Team”, prizes and the Awards Banquet dinner. Your second event is $10 and each additional event is $5.

Five Stand is $50 for a two (2) team with three (3) payout positions.

·       Purchase 12 round shoot cards at a discount over normal rates.

·       Leagues start in December and consist of 12 rounds for each event.

·       Bring a team or join a team

·       Events: 5 Man Skeet, 5 Man Trap, 2 Man – Skeet Doubles, .410 bore, Classic Skeet, and Five Stand

Renew your membership on December 1^st and you will receive two tickets for the “Year End Sweepstakes”. Renew your membership after December 1^st but before the end of 2012 and you will receive one ticket for the “Year End Sweepstakes”.  Prospective new members who visit the club and discuss the benefits of joining the club with Tim or Norm, the club managers, before the end of 2012 will receive three tickets for the “Year End Sweepstakes”.

The drawing will take place at 11am on Saturday, January 5, 2013. The holder of the selected ticket will receive a Browning A-Bolt .270 WSM Rifle. You need not be present and NO PURCHASE IS NESESSARY to win.

An annual membership dues structure for 2013 is as follows:

If you are interested in learning more about the club, come join us at a pancake breakfast starting at 9am on December 1^st, 2012. This is the kick-off event for winter league – skeet, trap and 5-stand. Come meet the members, learn about the club and its activities and have some fun. Breakfast is $5 or for $15 you can eat and shoot in our 30 bird special (10 skeet, 10 trap and 10 5-stand clays).
