OUTDOOR RANGE

The Outdoor Rifle & Pistol Range is now OPEN! 

NORGC has reimagined the Outdoor Ranges to maximize safety and give the recreational shooter a quality shooting experience.  The rifle and pistol ranges are arranged so that both may be in use at the same time. There will be certified Range Safety Officers on site to help provide a safe, enjoyable shooting environment. That being said, for everyone’s benefit, there will be NO shooting without an RSO present.

Please stop by the NORGC Clubhouse on your way out to the ranges if on a Saturday or Sunday to register.  On Wednesdays, drive out to the range (road is located at the SE corner of the parking lot) to register.   On Wednesdays, we can only acommodate cashless payment via QR code.  Please enter the range with your firearm unloaded, as well as cased or holstered.

The Outdoor Rifle Range is for bench shooting only, with distances out to 100 yards. Sandbags, wood rests, and Lead Sled rests are provided along with spotting scopes for your use.  Flashing light indicates COLD range and no firearm may be handled.  Firing, loading, casing and uncasing of firearms only during a HOT range.

Pistol Range will have steel targets or paper if you so choose.  Please, no rapid fire.  Same HOT/COLD range rules apply.  Any questions, please ask the RSOs on duty.

Cost:

$10 for members

$35 for daily members. Daily Outdoor Range memberships are $25 plus a $10 range fee. The $25 can be applied toward a yearly family membership within 30 days with receipt.

Outdoor Rifle & Pistol Range Hours: 

Wednesdays from 10am to 2pm

Saturdays from 10am-2pm

Sundays from 10am-2pm

Call ahead or check FB in case of inclement weather which may include rain, snow, heat, cold, and/or excessive wind.

Range will close for the season depending on weather, generally in mid November, then re-open in April.
